I agree, Gaunce needs to be on the team. If not this year, next year for sure. If Gaunce is not given his chance, i'd be extremely disappointed with management.

Actually Horvat is absolutely terrible in front of the net. Never battles. When the defender comes to crosscheck him, he just moves away. He goes for the redirect instead of screening the goalie too. Trust me, I watch the games.

Because I watch the games, I see that Virtanen is a turnover machine and gets pushed around like a teenager. Maybe you should turn on your TV once in a while and watch some games?

Let's be honest, Gaunce had the best training camp. The reason why Virtanen's in the lineup is one or more of the following reasons: - We have a soft lineup, Virt brings some "potential" grit. - 6th pick, and by Benning. - Benning just controversially traded away a young 3rd line RW in Kassian. What's a better way than diverting the controversy by telling everyone Virtanen RW is ready. Gaunce has 8 points in 11 AHL games. I doubt Virtanen will get even half that much. I am sorry, but Virtanen will take a long time to develop.

Bennett/Nylander/Ehlers/Ritchie are all playing quite well. More like Virtanen shoulda drafted lower. I still like Virtanen nonetheless.

I wouldn't blame him on your points. Think more deeply, hes actually got decent stats at the NHL level with the flames. What do the Flames do? Send him down to AHL and tells him that he sucks.

Ppoints mean jack. Watch the games. You put literally anyone (let's say Sestito) on our second line, playing 16-18 minutes every game and getting 2nd pp time; they are bound to get at least 15-20 points. And, Matthias > Higgins.

Jensen 's pretty good too. He scored 3 goals in 7 games for us last season. Should we play him? Should we be benching Vey/Matthias as well? They only played a full season for us to help us get into the playoffs. Let's play a new prospect because he looks flashy and pump some fan's adrenaline.

There's no ceiling for any young player. If you go by that logic, then all prospects drafted after the second round are pretty much useless and their "ceiling" is the AHL. Is that the case in reality? Nope.

Sorry dude, you misunderstood me. Turtle as in the turtle and hare story. Jensen and Shinkaruk has always been fan favorites as our future top 6. Guance, most people put off as a 3rd C or worst. And now he is slowly developing into a better prospect than Jensen and Shinkaruk - -that is the reference Im trying to make.

Damn.. Our most overlooked prospect. Guance, the turtle, is outshining Jensen and Shinkaruk. Grats.
