Mr Roper was one weird conservative. Possibility of a tenant nailing two girls upstairs? Out of the question with that vile hanky panky! Possibility of tenant having gay sex upstairs? hey, no problem, just make sure the rent is on time!

If the series was sent in Kansas, agreed. One of my first places was a nice girl who needed a roommate for the upper floor of the house. So we shared the rent, and she eventually brought in another guy to lower the rent. He crashed in our living room. It's too bad the landlord was letting the place rot to death. So I eventually moved out. You can live with a female roommate and just to afford it. I liked her a lot but I could tell I wasn't her type.
