Some of those guys put so much weight behind their endorsement of keeping Miller over Bo that they are doing some rather amazing gyrations to attempt to save face. Hilarious to watch.

The whole sports gambling push is gross.

I do wonder if there is a way to trade Miller if you can convince teams that he’d be a better player if he played closer to home on the East Coast. For some reason I can now envision a scenario in which trading Miller is possible.

If I were able to give JT a personal message before the game it would be this: JT, you can start to turn around this growing negativity around you if you simply ball out (puck out?) in tonight’s game. Would he take that advice in the well intentioned manner it would be givin? He’d likely tell me, or any one of us, to f**k off, let’s be real.

He was drafted to be a guy to do special things with the puck. He hasn’t had it much in this tournament. Don’t know if you are mis-interpreting his great 200ft game with his tendency to remain rather unengaged out on the perimeter of the action? But anyway, hockey brains bigger than yours have chimed in saying he’s not been that good….then factor in the benching, hardly an endorsement of his all round 200ft game by the coaches…and you are on the wrong side of this one Alf. And lol at the spelling of the clearly INFERIOR prospects there. But in laying out this criticism of JL….don’t think for a minute I’m not rooting for him to get a hatty next game. No doubt the kid is aware of the narrative around him currently….hope he comes out next game and shows all the critics their misguided ways. Like future teammate JT should endeavour to do….just display a “give a sh*t” quotient out there.

You cannot take even a shred of what Alf says about our prospects seriously. Alf is from the planet Homer. I suspect that, somewhere deep down though, he knows that Lekkerimaki has not played even remotely close to the level his draft position says he should have so far in this tournament.
