  1. Does feel like they're running on all cylinders. If the o-line holds up like they did this game, they could go all the way.
  2. Better pacing would be within a race rather than a lap, though. Makes the game last a bit longer, lol. But yeah, basic rule is you have to finish the drink before the finish line, or you DNF. And you have to be stopped while drinking.
  3. Sounds fun, but you missed the chance to play Beer Kart. It's a more intense/interactive version of a drinking game.
  4. Besides his rejouvanted play since the start of the season, he has yet to even give up a single set so far at Wimbledon this year. Hopefully Raonic can at least chip into that, but an outright win seems unlikely. Honestly I'd be fine with either result for this match.
  5. Federer, lol. His journey almost certainly ends here. But I wish him luck. This quarterfinal is a dream finals for me, so I'm upset it had to happen here.
  6. Pretty sure Raonic and Muller just won within seconds of each other. If I had access to a TV, dunno which ending I'd have been watching.
  7. Also, Slammiversary was a great PPV, for anyone who missed it. Easily my favourite non-NJPW one of the year. Felt like they began to miss a bunch of notes as week by week as they approached the show, but it all came together very well.
  8. They were never intended to. Miz's stuff is just more old school. They're trying to do the same thing with Bennett with this whole act, creating a guy who is completely unlikable, but it's the wrong way to go.
  9. Wait, we actually got a prospect for Grilli after his play this year? I mean I love the guy, his complete dedication to the Jays, and what he brought to the team... But I'm happy to get anything at all for him at this point.
  10. And besides the Baron Corbin thing, one even bigger mistake is Mike Bennett's usage. Mike Kanelis? Really? The guy is like a better version of the Miz. In the ring, and as a character. Though he's supposed to be a more confident and masculine version of him. Not.... this.... whatever this mess is. It's like the opposite of what they should have done.
  11. SmackDown has been way more enjoyable than Raw since WrestleMania. It was a lot closer after the initial draft, where Raw had a better roster, but mostly the same crappy storylines. After the post WrestleMania re-order, Raw had nothing on it. Owens, and Zayn to SmackDown. Additionby subtraction with Cena (I hope he returns to Raw), and a massive addition in Nakamura. That's without yet mentioning The New Day, Jinder, and others. Jericho MIA on Raw is what probably tips the scale the hardest. Feels like SmackDown went from being overrated to simply being better than Raw. Even if that has to do with Raw getting a lot worse, Tuesday is way more enjoyable than Mondays. Just really wish Baron Corbin was not holding the Money in the Bank, lol.
  12. Nia just isn't very good. Rough around the edges, without showing much of a ceiling. Doesn't look too convincing and explosive for a supposed powerhouse. I don't look forward to her inevitable title run.
  13. I feel like it's a far superior movie to all the Disney/Marvel ones that have come out in general. I'll likely end up watching this new one, but you know exactly what you're going to get. At least you're not going to get Amazing Spiderman 2, but on the flipside, there's no chance it will be half as interesting as that first Spiderman 2. These movies are starting to offend me with their lack of offensiveness. They're like the tofu of Cinema.
  14. If Jeff Bagwell was able to make the Hall of Fame with a few years of eligibility to spare, why is Larry Walker so far from a possibility based on voting as it stands? Seems silly. Edit: Not that Bagwell is worse, or undeserving, but Walker had a similar type of career, with similar, if not greater, accolades.
  15. That's hilarious. The exchange rate isn't even close to that bad. Also, Pokken DX is just a remake of a Wii U game. A Wii U game that most people with a Wii U couldn't even be bothered to pick up. Myself included.
  16. Wonder Woman - 8/10 About as highly as I could rank one of these super hero movies. Surprised by its lack of awfulness. The theme is stuck in my head.
  17. I really liked John Wick. It was all style, but I loved the style.
  18. This is true. Probably because they keep hard resetting the plot every time they achieve the smallest thing. Hard for the characters to go anywhere when they spend all their time at square one. It's funny though, because for the lack of progression, I'd say the biggest problem is that the show moves through everything too quickly. I can't even properly summarize the first 5 episodes of the season, because too much happened. Can't really complain about the show at all though. It's really good, and really, really, funny. I haven't seen season 1 or 2 of this show... Or Breaking Bad, but I've seen most of this one by being in the proximity of it being played. I just love the tone of the show. Need to go back and watch it all.
  19. Was always wondering how much of that movie was his doing, so watching this one will probably offer some solid perspective on that. As opposed to Jermaine Clement, I wasn't familiar with his work.
  20. What We Do in the Shadows is one of my favourite comedies in recent memory, so this is a must watch for me.
  21. Those cards are insanely stacked already. It's like having an international super Indy show at home.
  22. I'm with Shiznak, the show just went downhill after the tag team ladder match. It was pretty fun before that. I mean with the group I was watching with, we tried to analyze what the best match after that between the last 6 was. I think we decided on Rollins vs HHH because the last 5 minutes of that match were the only moments that weren't mediocre, or straight botchy. So a pretty bad WrestleMania as I straight think half of it was putting me to sleep. But it was far far from the worst I've seen. Like it's not even close to being the worst of the last two, after how miserable 32 was. Cool stage set up. Shane McMahon managed to wrestle very well, somehow (him and AJ had the best match, again somehow). Despite Mojo winning the battle royal being stupid, somehow Hard body Mahal was picked to finish second. The cruiserweight match was great. The broken Hardy's showing up was awesome. So not all bad. But all contained within the bubble of the first half. As for the second, just confirms for me a poorly booked card can't really be overcome. Show only has the potential that the chosen participants and possible results allow it. And there was too much mediocrity there. Reigns retiring Undertaker was awful, but it's not like it started being awful as it played out yesterday. Everything about Reigns is mediocre and everything they decide to do with him continues to be stupid. It was a stupid call back in January. Both the decision to have him be the one to retire Taker, and what it means for him as a Babyface who struggles to get over. It just is what it is. Also, I think Wyatt is going for the reverse Undertaker streak. He even managed to lose last year without having a match, lol. The only booking finish besides Mojo and Naomi I would have changed. Naomi's may have been the worst, even if it was the most throwaway match of the entire card, lol.
