Montreal built themselves for the playoffs with the additions of Anderson, Edmundson, Staal, Perry. They got a lot bigger and meaner, proven winners, and without breaking the bank. They also added a solid top-6 player in Toffoli on a steal of a deal. Sprinkle in their young studs who are still on their entry level deals (KK,Caufield,Suzuki). Then you have Price in net and Danault as your shutdown center with offensive flair and it's no surprise they've gone deep in the playoffs.

If that's the case, I can make an exception for them.

No Canucks fan would ever cheer for a Canadian team after Canada dumped all over the Canucks in 2011. Go anybody else.

That's a nice looking logo. -
Maybe, maybe not. Brobovsky tanked after Clark left and Markstrom just had his worst year in a long time.

On the plus side, this improves our chances of getting Connor Bedard. -

Lol this franchise is allergic to winning and success. Time and time again they let down the fanbase. -
I'm sure these will just fly off the shelves.

[discussion/poll] Trent Cull - next coach of the Canucks?
Duodenum replied to JM_'s topic in Canucks Talk
Would rather hire a proven NHL coach at this point. -
Was one of my favs on the Canucks, can't believe we got rid of him in favor of someone like Benn. Stecher is underrated amongst fans, always near the top in underlying metrics, and very good defensively. He suffers from lack of draft pedigree/name value/height. That's the kind of metrics our bozo front office prefers to look for.

2/10 Our 5 on 5 play has consistently been poor over his entire tenure. Piss poor assistant coach choices as well. -
