  1. Could Thatcher Demko be a dark horse Calder candidate?

      Highly unlikely.  The only way is if Marky gets injured in the next game and Demko carries the team for the rest of the season and even then, it's doubtful.  Just ask Jordan Binnington.

      Not right now. Markstrom would need to suffer a season ending injury and Demko would probably have to take the Canucks to the playoffs in a Vezina calibre performance to be considered for it. He could get a vote or two (as a 5th place vote) but I doubt it. Though, Demko is having a terrific start to his first season.

       

      Quinn Hughes is a more likely Calder winner on this team. But right now Cale Makar is the front runner.
