I'm going to enjoy seeing this thread get bumped in 3-4 years. We will either have a bunch of self proclaimed geniuses who claim to have seen the future... or a bunch of bitter degenerates saying "told you so"... Either way, posting this will ensure my spot in an otherwise epic thread.

AV was stale and played favorites with the roster. His time was done here. This team would still suck with or without him.

Is this game on anywhere? Or do we have to wait for this penguins game to finish? Saw it listed on msnbc (wtf?), but it wasn't actually airing.. Some murder mystery bs instead.

someone needs to give you a spice rack for christmas! Seriously though.. I'm so lazy when it comes to cooking, once you have the spices it's extremely easy to put together. I just wing it every time and it always tastes delicious.

I always enjoy blackened Cajun chicken, I usually cut my chicken breasts into 2-3 thinner pieces, Mix together onion powder, garlic powder, dash of salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, ground mustard Coat breasts in olive oil, rub in the spices.. After it's on I do a few dashes of clubhouse "Cajun" spice, then mix in a bit of lime juice. Heat a frying pan on high for 5-7 minutes, toss the breasts in for 1-2 minutes a side, then throw it in the oven at 350 for 10 minutes. Or if I'm feeling lazy I just toss them in the George Forman for a bit.. But they're not so "blackened" when I do that. Tastes great with some tzatziki sauce and a side of quinoa and veggies.

After missing most of the game since my pvr didn't record it.... I tune into the game, right before a commercial break and I see the score is 4-3 islanders with 12 minutes left.... First thought: "Wow! We scored 3 goals" Second thought: "Wait a second... I bet we probably gave up a lead of some sort" Then I check NHL.com and hilarity ensues..... Ps.. As I'm typing this, we score, then the islanders score. Oh man. All I can do is laugh....

I wonder how long it takes for the panthers organization, or perhaps Luongo himself, to shut down Luongo's twitter Canuck comments. It's kind of sad to think about actually. I'm gonna miss that old greaseball.

Kind of hard to "rebuild" with a declining, 35 year old goaltender with like 8 years left on his contract. This opens up opportunities in the future for the franchise. Sucks to see Luongo go, I liked the guy, but his contract was a mistake - even he knew that. He's not getting any better, nor is his contract. This trade is meh for me. Luongo wasn't a difference maker here recently, and he didn't put us over the top or come up huge when we needed him to. He obviously wasn't alone in that, since nobody else on this team has stepped up either. We need new blood and I have a feeling this is just the beginning.

I may be out of the loop... But who is "they"? What's the source for this information? Same goes for Lack getting the start... I thought torts never announced who was playing in net until game day. Where is that info coming as well? Sounds like everyone is in straight up panic mode since the kesler trade rumors started.
