  1. I'm interested to see how Rory comes back from this. He put up a great fight, but suffered a significant beating. Like, he might have some long term lingering effects from that beating. That was probably one of the most brutal fights I've ever seen. An absolute war.
  2. Lawler's lip made me cringe. They're both going to be sore in the morning.
  3. Wtf. That's my day off. Figures.
  4. ... to add to that, if you have a chunk of cash that you're willing to lose, there's no harm in throwing it at bitcoins if that's what peaks your interest. Just don't put all your eggs in one basket. I've invested in several micro cap stocks and I've probably broken even on them as it stands right now. If I lose it all I really won't care very much since it only amounts to about 20% of the cash I'm playing with in that account. But if I double or triple my money I'll be laughing.
  5. Nobody knows, obviously. It's very high risk, which you have already said... and it's a gamble, like any sort of high risk high reward investment. If you're willing to risk and quite possibly lose your investment with hopes of beating the odds - go for it. In my opinion, you're better off investing some cash into the oil/energy sector. While it may not have quite bottomed out completely yet, it will most likely rebound within the next 5 years or so. As long as your patient, it may be a safer bet in the medium term.. not to mention you'll probably collect some dividends in the meantime.
  6. Eff all this smoke. I smell like I just came back from camping.
  7. Of course not. They're totally legit .mkv files.....
  8. Anyone successfully using the ps4 media player yet? After messing around with it for a bit I can't get it to play most video. Trying mostly mkv either through ps3 media server or windows media. I can locate the folders, but it either has no content to play or cannot play the file. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
  9. Because it's clearly a 7.6. I take it you have not seen the movie yet.
  10. At least for me, dreaming about a girl I like on some level always leaves me with this deep emotionally connected feeling towards that person for like 2 days. Then it goes away. It's the strangest thing. So if you're anything like me, give it a few days and you'll forget she even exists.
  11. Good quality protein isn't cheap. That's the problem. I usually just stock up when my local store has a sale.
  12. The level of creepy that this thread has reached is far beyond anything else I've seen around here..
  13. This is easily the worst active thread in CDC's existence.
  14. Depends how close you are to the extender. The signal quality coming from the extender is probably questionable at best, and the farther you go from it the worse it's going to be. That said, hard wiring from the extender might be slightly better but still not sufficient for what you need if it's garbage to begin with. Range extenders can be pretty terrible in general, let alone trying to game off it. Look at moving your modem closer if possible. If you cant do that (or hardwire from your modem), PowerLine adapters can be hit or miss, but may work better than your wifi extender.
  15. That's not what crossfit is about. Their WOD's will generally consist of a certain amount of exercises/reps/sets for time. Your reps may be 18/14/10/8 for example. It's not a free for all. It's not a "do as many deadlifts at max weight until you die" sort of thing. You're supposed to know your limits to workout for that rep range. The competitive aspect is there, but you're not going to be competing with the pro athlete to the right of you, or the over weight soccer mom on the left of you.... if you're going to be competitive you're generally going to look towards the people who are similar in skill to yourself. And that's a good thing. You should really try crossfit someday. I assure you that you will not perish.
  16. As far as I know, every crossfit is independently owned and operated. The one I went to was very strict with form. They preached form before anything else, and you had trainers watching everyone during workouts to ensure proper form. I never experienced any of the crossfit myths you hear about in the media. It's pretty unfair to catagorize all independent crossfit outlets as unsafe because of what you've read online. I'm sure there's a few bad apples out there, but I'm sure it's by far the minority. It's an amazing workout program if you put the effort in. By far the best workouts I've ever done, and I've been hitting the gym for over a decade now.
  17. I did crossfit for a few months. The workouts were great. I'm a big fan of that style of working out, it's much funner to me. I did however have issues with the class format. You have to sign up for the classes before hand, and with my work schedule (never know when I'm done until I'm done), it was pretty tough to make it work. They also only had one class on Saturday and we're closed sunday... usually my only days off. So in the end I paid a bunch of money (did I mention it's expensive) and was barely able to go. I did learn some stuff while I was there though. My squat and deadlift form improved, and I learned how to do proper cleans and snatches. All in all, if you can make it fit with your schedule and don't mind the cost, it's a great workout for sure. Luckily my local crossfit only had a couple of typical douche "crossfitters", everybody else was cool. Talking to an arrogant crossfit douche is a quick way to get turned off by the whole thing, so watch out for that haha.
  18. Yeah that's some serious weight. Slim margin for error. I'd cut that weight in half until you're 100% again. I always play it safe with squats and deadlifts. I could care less what the guy next ti me is doing (not saying you do), so I always start lighter and add weight through sets. I almost never push more than maybe 85% of my max. It's just not worth it to me. I'm old enough and have learned through injuries on more than one occasion. My body just doesn't recover like it used to. That said, my workout goals could be drastically different from yours, I dunno.
  19. Anybody else watching fox's "The Last Man On Earth? Hilarious show! Missed the first couple episodes, but just saw the last two and I'm an instant fan.

    1. Drive-By Body Pierce
    2. Gross-Misconduct

      Gross-Misconduct

      The best show on TV!

    3. BanTSN

      BanTSN

Heard about it. Good casting effort imho.

  20. Horrible bosses 2 - 7/10 A bunch of legit laughs. Really entertaining movie.
  21. Jake's hair in that flick makes it an automatic 10.
  22. Agreed. Battery life is horrible. Ps3 controllers feel like they had 3 times the battery life.
  23. Fury - 8/10 ... solid flick. Brad Pitt is awesome as per usual. Not the most captivating story line, but it kept me entertained for 2 hours. Lucy - 6.5/10 ... some interesting concepts. Again, kept me entertained. Million Dollar Arm - 6/10 ... pretty predictable, but it was a cute movie.
