      Hey Chalky, glad you replied. I forgot who had the Westy knowledge. I bought one for $2000 and will be picking it up on Saturday. She runs but definitely needs some love before I can get on a trip. I will be working on her all through Winter with my colleague who owns one as well. Its an air-cooled one.

      U lucky bugger. These are getting scarce. Descent price !  My buddy rebuilds these in his spare time. He has a few gems T1's and T2's.  Air cooled is the only way. Water cooled VW is a nightmare.   Air cooled is nearly indestructible : D
