Im not even going to look at the advanced stats , I am just going to suggest that Edler is a horrible choice on the powerplay. Yes I realize he has gotten a few PP goals , and seing as he has played on the Canucks since moses wrote the ten commandments, I will assume he deceptively has some success there. I just wish one of those commandments included " thow shalt not shoot into shinpads when you have a wide open winger'. I am just going to say that nobody can wreck a perfectly good pair of shin pads with open wingers like Alexander Edler. Personally, my television set is in the most danger of ending up on the front lawn when elder is on the powerplay then any other time during a canucks broadcast. How this coaching staff has not seen what everyone with eyesight has seen is beyond me. PETTERSSON IS OPEN U DUNCE !!! Anyways, my question is really more of a curiosity if I am the only one on earth that thinks Alexander Edler should be nowhere near a first powerplay unit ? Thoughts ?

Yes . Edler is not a powerplay quarterback. Jesus , how does anyone in managment think otherwise. Stecher would be better in that position for F sakes .

My god , for years now I scream at the TV everytime Edler plays a powerplay shift. It's like he is powerplay retarded . How the F does the coaching staff not deal with his idiocy in this regard? Sre they seriously happy with Petterson holding his d in is hands wide open while Edler punishes shin pads like an idiot ?

They are the top goal differential team in the league. Their advanced stats have been as close to perfect as we could have possibley imagined. This deserves a special parking spot pass. What the F are you talking about ? Is the confusion, or laughing emoji the new minus ? I can't decide.

Milk was a bad choice

Maybe going against the grain , but from the moment we signed Myers , I was excited to have another actual NHL calibre d man in the lineup. His play this far has proved why Benning thought he would be a good fit here . He has been reliable as a trail horse so far. His first passes have been very good , and looks offensively inclined enough to be a welcome addition in the offensive zone. Still, sadly, there are some here that picture our blue line this year as better without him still. I hope he has won some over though by this point as a key addition .
