    When I hear people talking about so many individual doctors and politicians participating in some power hungry conspiracy, it tells me that they havent actually spent any time with doctors and politicians. They are just people. They are just people who are trying their best to do an insanely difficult job.

    Is there anywhere outside of the greater Vancouver and Victoria areas that you can golf year round?

      many years ago, smithers started playing snow golf. you could use any ball (like tennis ball) and any kind of club (like a hockey stick). i think they put a stake in the snow to shoot for. if you hit it, the hole was done. i think it lasted for a couple of years until the novelty wore off. they played it on our golf course.

      a lady from here made the sun paper. she was quite buxom and was showing lots of cleavage. she hit a tree with her shot, it ricocheted off a tree and landed in her bosom. her picture in the paper had the caption, do i play it where it lies? put smithers on the map.

      I'll be up there for a ski trip over the Christmas break!  I'm not heartbroken to miss out on the snow golf.  I have a challenging enough time finding my ball in the summer months!

    Very cool! The Cariboo Ski Touring Club at Hallis Lake is a gem! Really good track setting and really fun trails. Lots of them too. I spend lots of time out there. I was the backcountry ski director for the club for a few years. They maintain 4 tucked away cabins in the mountains out here for backcountry touring trips. Great area. I hope you get to make the trip

    I'm so excited about the season. My local hill is going outdoor only. No lodge access. It will be interesting to see what the other nearby resorts do. I live in the BC interior, so the line ups are usually pretty tolerable and the powder is plentiful and dry. Pretty pumped to see the snow fall so early already.

    Sometimes I feel like the Leaf fans deserve a good season after so many decades of heartbreak and disappointment... ...but then when their team is doing well, they are so arrogant about it that I find myself hoping they crash and burn yet again.

    Hypothetically if we could get to a place where Artificial Intelligence can be used to perfectly referee a game.... would you support it's use or do you feel that the human factor of refereeing is part of the game?

    I love Pettersson and he could end up being Top 5 by the end of his career, but his two seasons haven't yet landed him in the Top 50 for me. If we (unwisely) traded him tomorrow, he would be a great memory but not a Top 50 great. I'll vote Oddleifson Nominate Martin Gelinas

    Thanks for doing this every day! Fun project. (ps. Hamhuis was a beast. Stellar defense, Olympian, 2011 playoff alumni, community guy, returned from the scariest face trauma in recent memory, hip checks. Beast.)
