Good solid info. The way you broke it down really makes it seem a lot sooner rather than later. Teams win with solid contributions from guys on ELC’s and a better than average mid 20’s core. By the time he’s done dominating the K, EP, Brock and Bo will have a ton of games under their belt and should be competing with the big dogs of the west. We can hopefully enjoy some decent playoff runs.

We need either Juolevi or Woo to pan out or JB will be overpaying for a UfA Dman. IMO for us to succeed, we need to have 1-2 players from each draft to be a difference maker to be a legitimate contender. The last five cup winners have had huge contributions from their own drafted players.Blues (Schwartz, Pietrangelo, Binnington, Parayko, Edmundson, Thomas) Caps ( Ovie, Backstrom, Kuzy, Holtby, Wilson, Beagle) Pens (Sid, Gino, Letang, Murray, Guentzel) Hawks (Toews, Kane , Kieth, Seabrook,) cant depend on UFA’s or trades to take us to the promised lad.

Just watched a bunch of highlights on him. Looks solid at both ends. Especially on the PP. and that is where we need help on. I can’t count how many games the last 4-5 years where the PP lost us valuable points by firing blanks. We had a top PP from 08-11 and won a ton a games. Soderstrom looks like the real deal.
