    If Benning just admitted he was rebuilding and didn't sign Sbisa, Miller, Barftowski or Prust I would have been fine. Adding deadweight like that to a rebuild is counterproductive. And irretrievably stupid.

    I really don't think the Sedins surpass 65 points next season like some people are expecting.

      With Kes gone, Sedins will be forced to play the tough mins. I think they average around the 65-70 pt range.

    Surprised at all the good contracts handed out today in UFA land. Normally it's the opposite.

    The entire western conference got better today while the upper tier teams stayed the same. The Canucks added a player in a position that we had no issues with. Cal and edm got noticeably better or at least tougher in comparison. I do not like the "illusion of competing" if we are not going to be competitive. Still need a PMD, a bottom pairing stay at home 2nd line c 2nd line LW and top line RW....get busy Benning

    Day #2 with no Kesler and people are saying this was a good trade. I'm convinced that this was a good trade. Bonino and Sbisa aren't that bad of players at all plus top that off with Jared McCann. This will forever be one of the best trades in Canucks history
