I'm not living in the past. I think right now, in this VERY moment, Loui is not a good hockey player.

Why do people keep defending him because he can do well defensively? That's great and all, but 6M for a forward that can play defence is unheard of. Score some goals Loui, earn your money.

I don't mind Green, but it does frustrate me that he is more of the, "they need to earn their spot", then a "put them in a situation to succeed", type coach. Hughes seems to be the latest affected by it. I know, it's been 2 games. But this guy is the top-ranking prospect in the NHL right now, and is known by all scouts to be a Powerplay specialist D-man. Yet, he gets less then a minute on the powerplay. Someone tell Green that we're out of the playoffs, and the people in the stands are wanting to see what Hughes can do. No one wants to see more Ryan Spooner than Quinn Hughes.

I thought he would develop well this year, but never expected him to become over a PPG player. That's pretty incredible for a guy with his size

Why he's on the powerplay is beyond me.

I kind've want to see him play one game next to Boeser and Pettersson. See what happens...

Pettersson decided to be selfish and take over the game near the end today, and we look soooo much better.

Was at the game tonight and was impressed by Virtanen, he did well defensively and was trying to create an offensive spark. His linemates did absolutely nothing to help him out.

Tkachuk may have been considered a better player, but at the time, he was by far the best d-man available. Leading up to the draft that guy was a winner: the memorial cup, and the World Juniors and he was the main defenseman for both. At the time, he was the right choice. Sometimes things don't pan out.
