      I learned at a young age to put my Canucks in binders by year, if opening a pack the " stars " went in soft sleeves and clear top loaders, rookies in " rookie " top loaders.

       

      Problem is my young age was right around the time cards were mass produced, have cases of unopened boxes of the first upper decks, 24 boxes in a case I believe. Fun to dig them out now and then you are right.

      I also have 1000's of cards from the mid 80's - 1992. My son has been reorganizing and cataloguing them.

      My uncle gave him a few thousand cards from the late 70's- early 80's, very rare and valuable full sets... My jaw hit the floor.. Anyways, the boy has been hooked since then.
