Doubt he pushes anyone out of our top 6. upgrade over Stecher, maybe. I remember hoping Tram would put in half the effort of Stech, though when asked to, he instead fled to the KHL and trashed our city. I'd take the Richmond kid anyday.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Fantenberg can bring and continuing the Gaudette on wing experiment.

ya.. Tryamkin isn't even close to a top 4 D. I doubt he could crack this team. He's bottom pairing on an average KHL team, that's a far cry from NHL top 4. He never did play the physical game of a big guy, and offensive upside is limited. So, the appeal is what? A 7th D that doesn't use his size? Best we could hope for Tram is a rebuilding team wants to give him a shot for a mid-round pick, like we did with Philip Larsen and the Oilers.

I just don't like Jasek being shafted, he's shown some real upside.

Graovac and Gadj injured right now. They've been lacking a C for a little while. Cull has placed Lind and Jasek in C roles with all the depth on the wing. Granted everyone is doing great still.

At the time of the Green interview he had stated 'we haven't spoken to the player yet', as in he wasn't going to release any information before doing so. It was merely putting Fantenberg on IR which means he'll have to sit a minimum of a week, even if it's just a flu. Green hadn't spoken to Fantenberg yet, ergo the speculation. I think we can shut this down now.

Poor Fanta. Dude is going to be rusy as heck when he's ready to get back in. I think we call-up Sautner as a guy who watches, and call-up Brisebois if we actually need someone to slot in.

I think Hoglander will be better, and arguably the steal of the draft. He's a fitness freak playing against men and holding his own. I doubt his timeline is far off either, as his skill set doesn't need much refinement. I'm becoming concerned about Podkolzkin's development. Being bounced around 3 different leagues can't possibly be good for him. Get him over here and into Utica as soon as we can. We can wait on both though, as our wings are chock full with guys who have contract length.
