if there’s one thing demko has got going it’s his strength/conditioning. He’s made huge leaps the past 2 years.

If there’s a cant miss prospect they have targeted thats fine too, but again, Im more curious if there are any players perhaps worthy of a 1st the Canucks could realistically target that make you think twice about keeping the pick.

the idea of the thread is to assume Miller is re-signed. In that case, and given Demko/Hughes current contracts, Im interested in players (e.g where a team might have to consider moving them) that would help address some of the Canucks needs/make them more competitive (with some degree of control of course). I dont follow the league as closely as others so I was just curious if there are any interesting players worth looking at.

preamble: assume miller re-signs assume canucks land pick #13-15 thereabouts assume canucks trade some players e.g boeser and acquire some picks/balance things out. Are there young(ish) like players in the league the Canucks could target similarly when they traded for Miller? I think there would have to be some degree of team control for X amount of time as well. Would this be a move you’d be on board with given Miller re-signs/Demko&Hughes on current deals? What say you? Discuss.

He absolutely has to be back. Been such a great fit so far.

I would also have Highmore in the lineup b/c although not big, he plays Boudreau’s system to a tee (hunting pucks in the neutral zone/hardforecheck) is hard to play against. Assuming those players are traded (imo I wouldnt mind keeping Pearson tho). Guys u could target: Brett Ritchie Through trade: Miles Wood Nick Ritchie (def a gamble)
