  1. Tortorella wants to see intensity out of his palyers. He should've chosen a different team to coach.

    1. Keslerific

Are you even a Canucks fan? anyone can get intense with the right motivation

    2. naslund.is.king

This guy.. wants to be hated on

  2. Canucks lose the second of the first two games of a playoff series with Luongo in net, Schneider comes in and completely outplays him, but it turns out to be too late and the team gets bounced in the first round. Sound like a familiar scenario. This team is BEYOND done, and I'm talking about years and years and years into the future.

OK, oh mighty one who sees the future. 649 numbers?

      Drive-By Body Pierce

That's only 5 numbers, I can't win the jackpot with that!

  3. Yet another sub-.900 game for Luongo. But, no, you keep maintaining he's great -- eventually it might come true.

  4. Connauton and a 2dn rounder for a couple months of a mediocre player. Everyone finally beginning to accept the fact that Gillis is the biggest f*ck up around????

  5. This team is a jokejokejokejokejokejokejokejokejokejokejokejokejokejokejokejokejokejokejokejokejokejokejokejokejokejokejokejokejokejokejoke

  6. Way too much focus on sleep strategies, nutrition, and advanced stats by Gillis, and not nearly enough on improving drafting/scouting, trades, and attracting free agents. What a joke

  7. Big moves/shifts going on right now. The FLames are now the Oilers, and the Canucks are now the Flames. Awesome, thanks Gillis!!

The Canucks are contenders? lolololololol Do you honestly think the roster right now is better than the one that was bounced in the first round last season? If so, you're insane; if not, then how can you argue that they're contenders when they couldn't win more than one playoff game last season with a better lineup? Wake up -- this team is done for a lonnnnnggggg time, thanks to our fantastically horrid GM and his terrible drafting/scouting, trades, and free agent record. Wayyy to...

    3. Wedge-tailed Eagle

      Wedge-tailed Eagle

The team that was bounced in the first round last season was missing Daniel Sedin for most it so yes this roster is better

go away troll and never come back

  8. Aha, the Canucks have the shi***iest GM who could never do anything close to what Shero is doing. What a joke this franchise is. Say hello to another 20-25 years without even a sniff at the SCF again, Canucks fans.

Go cry in the Bruins forum, buddy.

    3. JimLahey

What I gathered from that is you are frustrated or trolling. You are a realist.. Ironic considering your post. Acquiring a 37 year old rental would ensure we have very little prospects for the coming years. By NOT acquiring a rental whose asking price is a first and two prospects the Canucks are screwed for 20 years? Your logic is flawed. But please, retort some garbage that will attempt to put me down instead of responding appropriately.

    4. stonecoldstevebernier

Can we move you to Pittsburgh too?

  9. Looking again at Gillis' drafting history compared to others teams, year-by-year, round-by-round. All I can say is AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Sorry what was that Armada? I didn't quite catch that.

  10. What was that many of you were saying about how Kassian so much more durable than Hodgson? When you said Hodgson, were you referring to a grandparent of yours?

Did you miss the part where Hodgson wanted out?

Have fun cheering for the Sabres - don't let the door hit you on the way out....on second thought, I hope it does hit you - maybe it will knock some sense into you. :)

      Wedge-tailed Eagle

lets see if Hodgson can stand up after fighting Chris Stewart shall we. What Kassian has to do is far more grueling than what Hodgson does

  11. In all seriousness, I think this song encapsulates how each of us has felt after every one the Canucks' recent losses

That's exactly what makes it ideal. A shi**y song for shi**y mood that's telling people to leave you alone.

      sure i guess.....

  12. No worries, guys. I recall nearly every one of you saying at some time not too long ago that we have "one of the best GMs in the league." So, I'm sure we'll be fine.

He hasnt really assembled this team, he just add minor parts, and a bunch of bad contracts

    3. PrimeMinisterBure

News flash! No "rock solid" team would play the way the Canucks have on nearly a nightly basis for almost an entire year. But you go ahead and just keep blaming the coach, because it's so much easier.

    4. Newsflash

PMB did Gillis rough up your bum bum? PS he got piece internally and externally. He's added many good contracts and 2 bad contracts. The big internal pieces developed under Gillis for many reasons (e.g. Sundin mentoring). Who would have thought Kesler and the Sedins would do so good.

  13. Tes, start the guy who let in eight goals against this team just a couple weeks ago and who isn't even supposed to be your starter. Another beauty move from AV, and that opportunity is open to him thanks to the genius of Mike Gillis for keeping Luongo around. AWESOMEAWESOMEAWESOMEAWESOMEAWESOMEAWESOME

    1. *VaNcOuVeRCaNuCkS*

      Schneider isn't our starter either

    2. Wedge-tailed Eagle

      Wedge-tailed Eagle

Sigh, yes Luongo didn't have a good game but the defense was absolutely awful, it was like cory's game against Minny, not either goalie's fault

  14. Everything's fine! Gillis is a genius! No need to panic! Kassian is awesome! Schroeder is a future suerstar! Raymond is back is full form! THAT'S WHAT EVERYONE KEPT SAYING, RIGH RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT?!?!!?!

  15. Being the classy guys that they are, you know the Sedins took a big part of the blame for how the team is performing lately in the players meeting -- but SHOULDN'T HAVE. Their production levels are just fine. It's Gillis (the idiot who most of you have said is a genius time and time again) who should take the blame, as he is the one who has surrounded the Sedins with nothing but plug forwards being paid wayyy too much money.

Apply for Mikey's job then slick :P

    3. LostViking

So you want the GM to show up at the Players Only Meeting and tell them how it is? How exactly is he supposed to take the blame here?

    4. Tearloch7

are you sure you are Bure? .. you sound more like Harper or Mulroney

  16. Everything's fine, right? That's what all you kept saying, right? No need to panic, right? This is the best team in the league, right? Jordan Schroeder is great, right? Max Lapierre is a great asset to the team, right? David Booth is getting back into his groove, right? Zack Kassian is so much better for this team than Cody Hodgson, Right? RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT RITHFHGTJGKKGJ????

lmao i think it is time to bring back the origainal Bob Marley avatar everyone :) relax and enjoy...

  17. How many of those goals could Schneider have let in before AV pulled him -- 4, maybe 5? Definitely not 6. The undying love AV has for Luongo is disgusting.

      You're disgusting.

    3. PrimeMinisterBure

      And DEFINITELY not 8!!

    4. EmployeeoftheMonth

If he left Schneider in for 8 you'd be whining that he let him get shelled
