  1. BOLD PREDCITION: Evan McEneny and Ashton Sautner are going to surprise people and snag spots on the Canucks d-corps next season. Likely as depth guys with potential to move up the lineup.

Jimmy McGill, both require waivers next season as both have played 3 years of professional hockey.

Id like McEneny to get a spot but Sautner has played well too. My guess is Sautner would pass through waivers do to having less offensive potential but who knows.

For either to get a spot though Hutton would need to be traded. Maybe Pouliot but Id rather keep him considering the offence he showed this year.

Hutton to Arizona for Domi please

@-AJ- -- I don't think Biega is a safe bet to keep his roster spot as I can see him being sent to Utica to become their captain again. I'm also not convinced this d-core will return mainly because they were pretty mediocre this season. I expect one or two of Tanev, Hutton, and/or Pouliot being moved for futures/prospects opening up spots.

And as Jimmy McGill said, both McEneny and Sautner will be waiver eligible so there's a chance one or both could be snagged if they are sent down. Those two (especially McEneny) have worked closely with Travis too so they have an inside track for sticking... much like Archibald became a Green favorite back at training camp this past September despite not having an NHL contract.
