I see the positive in that we weren't like those other Canadian teams that took forvever to decide they wanted to rebuild after their finals loss. Calgary- went to the finals in 03/04 began rebuilding in 12/13 8 full seasons Edmonton- went to the finals in 05/06 began rebuilding in 10/11 5 full seasons (Oilers owner said rebuild began when hall was drafted) Ottawa- went to the finals in 06/07 began rebuilding in 12/13 4 full seasons Vancouver- went to the finals in 10/11 began rebuilding in 13/14 2 full seasons The sooner we can accept we need to change the better it is and I think the Gillis is making a smart move to retool and trade for promise players rather than full out rebuild and trade for picks since it is very risky. Our next generation of players includes Horvat Kassian Shinkaruk Maithhas Tanev Corrado Stanton Markstrom Lack Hutton McNally Archibald Lain Jensen Gaunce But we need more first liner and top players and that is why it is a good idea to start now. But if Gillis trades for a pick........... I will be disappointed.

:picard: You sound like such a idiot right now Edler played most of his games in November and January when our entire team was SUCKING BIG TIME. He and garrison were so bad together that is the real problem going into december Garrison was -5 Edler was -8 in January Garrison was -5 Edler was -6 You will see this pattern for every D man this year and most of them recovered their plus minus in december while edler didn't cause he was injured. That's why his is so much worse than everyone else's. So please anyone who judges him by his plus minus remember that.

Agreed I was the same; didn't like the way he went down on the breakaway goal against in the Lativa game. But he totally won me over with those tough saves through traffic.

Fun Fact: It's easier to score when your playing with better teammates. People are so quick to jump on the sedins when they play well internationally

Well guess you haven't watched this season and the game today.

Everyone thought Bab's was crazy when he said that but by shuting out the top offense in the tournament no one's thinking that now. Our defense played great but price made some amazing saves through traffic. We clearly made the right choice in goal those were some tough saves (especially the trailer with a huge screen- still don't know how price saw that).

I like how the USA members kept saying we beat them in 2010 so we can do it again referring incorrectly on how they were better and not how Brodeur let in some terrible goals that led to the win. Was laughing yesterday when one of them said that.

Semi finals were a rematch's of the last two gold medal games and not surprisingly the same teams won. Now the last two gold medal winners will go head to head to figure out who is really the best. Heads up to our BC boys who without we wouldn't be here right now Price(Shutout Winner), Benn(Game Winner) and Weber(Game Winner) all of them having a great time in Sochi. GO Canada GO!!

This put a smile on my face. Surprised who was doing the yelling in the video and who was just quiet haha. I was working at the time of the game and I heard two loud cheers in the office knew something happened. Wish I got a chance to watch it live . I must say this is hands down the best rivalry in all of sports(even better than mens rivalry) since both sides are pretty even and meet each other so often they are so passionate about the game. Just so fun to watch. I think this makes up for what happened to our soccer team in 2012.

Watched the second goal like 6 times. Wow. Not gonna expect that from him here since the team he played got blown out that game but that was pretty sick.
