Patrick Kane
To Vancouver: David Krejci To Boston: Kevin Bieksa, Kyle Wellwood, 3rd Round Pick 2010 David Krejci has had a slow start to the season, and with Marc Savard and Patrice Bergeron ahead of him on the depth chart, Boston does not need a 3.75 million dollar 3rd line center. Patrice Bergeron is only a couple months older, is bigger, and his concussion problems are probably over with now. Boston has a great prospect pool of centers, such as two-way forward Zach Hamil, the offensively gifted Joe Colborne, and the hard-working checker Vladamir Sobotka. David Krejci is expandable, even though he signed that contract recently, he was a RFA, and they needed to retain his rights. Boston's defense has not been good at all, and they are always known for offense, but they need to shape up their defense, and Kevin Bieksa will do that nicely, and Kyle Wellwood will be a satisfactory 3rd line center, at a reasonable cap hit, and may do better with more skilled wingers, as playing with Milan Lucic and Daniel Paille or Blake Wheeler and Michael Ryder or who ever in the stacked Boston Bruins offense, benefit him, and a 3rd round pick to add to their wealthy selections of picks. Daniel Sedin - Henrik Sedin - Alex Burrows Mason Raymond - Ryan Kesler - Mikael Samuelsson Steve Bernier - David Krejci - Jannik Hansen Rick Rypien - Ryan Johnson - Tanner Glass Christian Ehrhoff - Shane O'Brien Willie Mitchell - Alexander Edler Sami Salo - Matthieu Schneider Roberto Luongo Andrew Raycroft IR: Pavol Demitra, Michael Grabner, Darcy Hordichuck --- Blake Wheeler - Marc Savard - Mark Recchi Marco Sturm - Patrice Bergeron - Michael Ryder Milan Lucic - Kyle Wellwood - Daniel Paille Byron Bitz - Steve Begin - Shawn Thornton Zdeno Chara - Dennis Wideman Kevin Bieksa - Matt Hunwick Andrew Ference - Derrick Morris Tim Thomas Tuuka Rask IR: N/A -- Healthy line-up for Vancouver Daniel Sedin - Henrik Sedin - Mikael Samuelsson Ryan Kesler - David Krejci - Mason Raymond Steve Bernier - Pavol Demitra - Alex Burrows Rick Rypien - Ryan Johnson - Jannik Hansen Grabner Christian Ehrhoff - Shane O'Brien Willie Mitchell - Alexander Edler Sami Salo - Matthieu Schneider Roberto Luongo Andrew Raycroft
UFCanuck
They let go of Kessel to sign Krejci. Chiarelli is runnin' a team, not a 7-eleven.
jcvendetta
Krejci is a second line player imo if he comes to our team. 73 points last season (With great play makers). I like the trade, very talented player but will Boston part with more offense. As of late they haven't been very gifted.
b3.
They won't trade Krejci yet, like mentioned above they said good bye to Kessel for Krejci.
Intoewsables
Let's be honest. Wellwood probably has very little(if any) trade value right now. So basically, this is Bieksa and a 3rd for Krejci. Unlikely. Krejci hasn't had a great year, but I don't think they'd be willing to give up on him just yet. english_fan
Essentially the same trade that you put to get Ray Whitney, and you think it gets us David Krejci? Keep dreaming Al!

OWENN
Add a good prospect and this might be a little bit more legit.
themcdeal
wouldnt make a lot of sense for boston because Savard hasn't resigned and they might be alittle skeptical about Bergerons. That being said, Krejci played outstanding last year and they wont wanna get rid of him. The 3rd round pick essentially means nothing considering they've got some good picks for the next few years thanks to toronto and wellwood has very little trade value.
