The Horvatian One
Howard wasn't going to sign an "extension" anyways because he would lose 30 million. What was meant by the inital report is that Howard would re-sign with the Lakers on July 1st so he can get a max deal. The Lakers are very much in it still, Chris Broussard has Howard going to the Lakers eventually, hopefully it's soon.
Canucksbiggestfan
Sources: Dwight Howard to Lakers A four-team trade that would send Dwight Howard to the Los Angeles Lakers is complete, multiple sources told ESPN on Thursday night. A look at what each team will receive if the NBA approves the deal: TEAM RECEIVES IN TRADE LAKERS Dwight Howard NUGGETS Andre Iguodala 76ERS Andrew Bynum, Jason Richardson MAGIC Arron Afflalo, Al Harrington, Nikola Vucevic, Moe Harkless *- Magic also will receive a protected 1st-round pick from each of the other three teams In addition, the Magic will be getting other pieces, including 76ers No. 1 draft pick Moe Harkless, a source told Stein. Canucksbiggestfan
76ers are just ruining the franchise, why would they trade Igoudala for so little, Bynum might not even stay and Richardson is old now.

sedated
Guess this sets up a couple years of Lakers vs Heat finals. Though, Durant and OKC could beat LA.. Nash is pretty old, so is Kobe. Scary teams though. I feel bad for any other team that isn't those three, Chicago had a chance but Rose is pretty much icky with his knee injuries. James in his current form + even better 3 pointer shooting on the heat = scary. They dominated even with Bosh and Wade being injured too.
The Brahma Bull
Steve Nash (championshipless/motivated) feeding D12 and Kobe? It's over. Can't wait to see the Heat vs the Lakers in the final.

Yea, Idk wtf they were thinking... The Lakers starting five is ridiculous. And the Heat thought they were good.. LAKE SHOW!!!!!!!!! Kobe's got his work cut out for him; finally he can rest and come playoffs, he will get his mamba on and be lethal - Lakers vs Celtics/Heat finals, gonna be fun Also, full trade report: The Magic appeared on the verge – again – of trading Dwight Howard amid reports Thursday night that a four-team deal that would send Howard to the Lakers and generate a lot of heat for Orlando was set to be completed. ESPN.com reported that a trade call has been set for Friday morningto finalize the blockbuster that would feature Los Angeles getting the defensive superstar, Philadelphia getting Andrew Bynumfrom the Lakers and Jason Richardson from the Magic, Denver getting Andre Igoudala from the 76ers, and Orlando getting Arron Afflalo and Al Harrington from the Nuggets, Nikola Vucevic andMaurice Harkless from the 76ers and one first-round pick from each of the three other participants. EvoLu7ioN
Lakers definitely get better, though Bynum was already pretty good himself. I still think OKC has a good chance at beating them, they`re not the favorites, but they at least have a decent chance. They`re young and athletic and can run the floor better. By the time the playoffs come around, Nash will be 39, Kobe will be 34, MWP 32, Pau 32, and Howard 27. Tons of size there which will be a nightmare to guard, but the Lakers will def have a hard time containing the speed and athleticism of both OKC and Miami. Took a quick look at updated vegas 2013 championship odds, and they`re as follows: Miami - 3.15 LA - 4.4 OKC - 6 Chicago - 14 Looks like it`s a 3 team race haha. EvoLu7ioN
Howard >>>>>>>>>> Haslem Gasol << Bosh MWP <<<<<<<<<<<<<< LeBron Kobe = Wade Nash >> Chalmers This isn't 2007, fixed that for you. And then the heat have Ray Allen and Rashad Lewis coming off the bench. The issue for the heat will be at C, and I bet they find someone before the playoffs. LA got better, but Maimi is still the favorite.

Bosh's numbers have been dipping since joining the Heat, while Gasol's numbers' has always been consistent throughout his career. Not only that, Gasol see his teammates better than Bosh does and plays better defense.
