Caboose
I disagree Guardiola was only able to do what he did because he had Xavi. Xavi revolutionized the game.

Guest
For me Xavi only became the player he did because of Iniesta's emergence. Pirlo never had a stable partner; imagine if he had years and years of Iniesta alongside him. Iniesta is the best of the three, but Pirlo would rank 2nd with Xavi third. Of course Michael Carrick has better passing stats than all of them, so...
MaxieMan98
Let's be real Pirlo ran one of the most dominant teams in history, the 06 Italy squad. Everything they did ran through him. IN 2012 Pirlo was the player of the tournament in the Euro Cup. He put that team into the final. That was a subpar Italy team. He is class. I respect Xavi, but honestly Pirlo has done arguably more with less of a supporting cast. Edit: And he is a deadball specialist as well. Look up Pirlo's free kick vs England Edited June 8, 2015 by MaxieMan98

TheRussianRocket.
Khedira to Juventus. Excellent relief signing considering Pirlo is gone and soon to follow is Pogba.
susraiders
Not sure if it's been posted but Danny Ings has signed for Liverpool. Decent signing but they have to realize that they will likely never replace Suarez any time soon. I can't see Liverpool being top 7 without spending £100 million or so. I guess they didn't want to splash on Benteke? Ings is an improvement, but Liverpool will go nowhere if Sturridge cannot stay fit.

Scottish⑦Canuck
Liverpool don't need to spend £100 million. They just need better scouts and to stop pissing away money on overrated dross. Honestly, there are clubs on the continent with far smaller budgets who develop and invest in players a lot better. Caboose
Kovacic and Clyne are good buys. Liverpool's transfer MO will never let them be consistent top 4 contenders. They only buy young guys who have resale value, but without a strong veteran presence you can't organise your XI. They're currently dicking around Martin Skrtel, do they really expect Lovren to be in the first team next year?
