Te@m1040
Anyone else really nervous about the decision?? I'm hoping he picks us, but sounds like the favorite is Edmonton.
Samuel Påhlsson
It's gonna be funny when he signs with Edmonton and his parents boo him at Canucks home games.
diesel_3
There will be a LOT of bitter/jealous Canucks fans if he picks the Oilers. I may be one of them.

Legend Killer
I'd be choked of he doesn't pick us, all this talk of him being a Canucks fan and family follows Canucks. Blah what ever. Just get this pick over with, kinda startin to get sick of the whole thing
Phamda
yeah, i hear you. in all all honesty, i think vancouver and ottawa would be best fit.
Special Ed
Maybe he doesn't want to deal with the pressure of playing in front of the home town. If he doesn't live up to expectations in front of friends family then it would be a real drag. That could be one thing Justin could have against Vancouver IMO. diesel_3
It's probably going to be announced at 11:59pm to just troll us.
Fozzy
@IanEsplen Reportedly Robert Kron just got off the phone with #Schultz on #Canucks behalf. Now Schultz is leaning towards Van again.”

Commercial Canuck
I've been saying it'll be NYR. Something about young athletes coming to VAN never seems to go through. Even when the story makes it seem they're destined to play here.

Biznow
I'm anxious for todays signing because it will kick off the unfolding of some hilarious events on cdc. I'm picturing three possible outcomes: 1. Someone else signs Schultz. Numerous threads start up calling him overrated, and questioning his character for leaving Anaheim. 2. Schultz signs in Vancouver. He is hailed as the conquering hero, lives up to all the hype, and has a great career for his home team. 3. Schultz signs in Vancouver. He has an average rookie campaign. The Proposals section goes mad with Schultz + Ballard + Raymond for Shea Weber trade proposals.
steviewonder20
This is being hyped like he's the second coming of Christ! If he doesn't come here we just need to trade for another D, and sign Salo.

Rey
This is just all Media's doing. Schultz has had a team in mind ever since he decided not to sign with Anaheim and that team hasn't changed one bit. Of course, like any top prospect will look at every possible option. People who are stirring up crap are just wanting attention, they don't know anything about the situation, that's why they've had a new front runner every hour. Spotted Zebra
Whether he choses Vancouver or not, this will be a Win - Win Situation for Vancouver. If he signs here, Great would love to have him. If he doesn't? Mile Gillis has spent so much time chasing this kid, that now he realizes he can't go into the season with the same roster as last year, this could make him more agressive in Free Agency, or increase the urgency to get a Luongo trade done
