BZRK
If Pahlsson doesn't come back, we have a big gap in the centre position. Lapierre is better suited as a 4th liner, and Schroeder probably won't have the two-way prowess to help Kesler break out into the 40 goal scorer. Helm, on the other hand, is a proven two-way centre who can dazzle with his speed. With Lidstrom retired and Stuart probably walking, the Wings only really have Kronwall, Abdelkader, Qunicey and White. They need a defenceman who can make a great breakout pass. To Detroit: Chris Tanev Mason Raymond's rights 4th round pick 2013 To Vancouver: Darren Helm's rights 2nd round pick 2013 --- To Toronto: Roberto Luongo Keith Ballard To Vancouver: Carl Gunnarsson Clarke MacArthur 35th overall --- Sign Garrison 3 years at 3.775 Re-sign Schneider 4 years at 3.9 Re-sign Lack 2 years at 925k Re-sign Salo 1 year at 2 --- Sedin-Sedin-Burrows Booth-Kesler-MacArthur Higgins-Helm-Hansen [Triple H Line reborn] Malholtra-Lapierre-Kassian Hamhuis-Bieksa Edler-Gunnarsson Garrison-Salo Schneider Lack --- Thoughts? ken kaniff
tanev is a great young player. we can easily get helms rights with a different player. and macarthur is not good enough to answer our 2nd line issues

Smashian Kassian
Trade #1: This guy summed up my thoughts perfectly. tanev is a great young player. we can easily get helms rights with a different player.
Jägermeister
The Toronto deal is just awful, I wouldn't even consider that if I was MG. I could deal with the Detroit trade, but losing Tanev would really deplete our D prospect pool.

Zoolander
I wouldn't trade Tanev,Kconn,Schroeder Kassian or Jensen. The only prospects I'd move would be Sauve and Rodin...we need those prospects. I'd sooner trade Edler to STL for Berglund and a 1st Trade Luongo for Weiss (if FLA has as much interest as is speculated) and have this: ****Sign Garrison and Allen also Sedin-Sedin-Burrows Perron-Weiss-Kesler Higgins-Berglund-Hansen Weise-Lapierre-Manny Bieksa-Hamhuis Garrison-Allen Tanev-Salo KConn Schneider Lack
Armada
The way things are looking, that's around what were going to get.
Phil_314
seems realistic, but if there's better deals available then by all means (e.g. if Raymond + 4th could get Helm) if the T.O. trade didn't involve Ballard and had a slight upgrade in one or more of the returning parts then it could be realistic
