velocity
To NSH 2nd Shroeder Raymond To Van David Legwand I believe that he is exactly what Vancouver needs for a third line checking C, He is physical, defensivly responsible, can chip in with a goal here and there and brings many other intangables, He could Also center the second line while Kesler Recovers I know Legwand was their first ever draft pick and all that but what would it take to get him from Nashville? He is a center so we could return our best center prospect and a pick in a fairly deep draft for his services as well as rRaymond who has the potential to be a 20 goal scorer if he can get it back together and he is also fast which nashville needs and can kill penalties. It is tough to put a pricetag on a guy like this so overpayment? underpayment? discuss.....
Pears
Schroeder, Raymond and a 2nd is definetly not what it will take.

RyanKeslord17
A prospect who hasn't played a single NHL game, a big underachiever, and a worthless pick isn't going to get you a 1st line center.
Pears
I really wouldn't call Legwand a 1st line center. Far from it actually. His highest point season was 63, and that's probably as high as he'll go considering he's past 30 years old now. I think the OP has made a reasonable offer. Master Mind
I think it might take just a bit more to get him. But congrats on making a proposal with NSH that isn't about Weber!
allkill326
Why do we need to give up a young prospect, speedy Raymond, a precious pick for cap-consuming veteran, average center?
RyanKeslord17
I always thought Legwand was Nashville's 1st line center. Still Legwand could get more than the OP's offer.

velocity
I think we would have to add some more salary going there way because legwand has a cap hit of 4.5 mil, would it be better to pursue dubinsky for that kind of $

Tortorella's Rant
It's funny how Schroeder has no value but people think it's necessary to sell half the team for other teams higher touted prospects.
