grandmaster
Canucks get a power forward for the second line/power play Wings get a puck moving D man Both team fill their voids I still remember when Bert was asked if he would ever come back after his trade out of here; "stranger things have happened"
CanucksFanMike
bertuzzi is 37, has a few more years left at best. doesn't really make sense to me
Patrick Kane
Bertuzzi wouldn't be a bad option, but hes good for around 35-45 points. I'd try to get someone with more offensive upside first.
Canucks_fo_life
I would absolutely love to have Bertuzzi on our 3rd line. I've been wanting him back here for the last 2 seasons now.
-Vintage Canuck-
Would love him back here. Problem is we need a centermen not a winger.
Jägermeister
It would certainly be interesting. I think I would be willing to do it if Bert could play like he has in Detroit for us.
TheCammer
Yes, I'm sure he would be pleased to come back tio the media circus and have to rehash all the Moore garbage. If this trade occurred he would likely hang them up. (didn't we have enough of these "Bring Back the WCE" threads in the past. I like Bert, but no, just no. Ossi Vaananen
I'd do it just for Bert to mentor Kassian for a season, beyond that Bertuzzi is getting old and slow, probably not worth Ballard. Carle to Detroit me thinks.
Ralph.
Didn't he just sign a 2-year 35+ contract?

2013's The Charm
We need a RW as well as a centre. Centre is a higher priority tho. For a centre,I say we target Dubinsky. His value is lower than it normally is because he under-performed but he would be a perfect 3rd line centre for us. He brings everything to the table. Imagine: Higgins-Dubinsky-Bertuzzi as a 3rd line :D
Prngr44
That would be a lateral move on my hate-meter.
Cucumber
I like it the only think they would need to add is a prospect/pick because bertuzzi is 37 and ballard is 29 but still imagine sedins burrows higgins kesler booth bertuzzi lappy/? hansen lappy/? malhotra bitz/volpatti but I have a feeling this will be our lineup on opening night sedins burrows higgins kesler booth raymond lappy hansen bitz malhotra volpatti bieksa hamhuis edler garrison ballard tanev schneider luongo I would like this if we can't sigh doan or some other player we can get via trade or free agents sedins burrows booth kesler higgins kassian lappy hansen pinizzotto malhotra volpatti same d as before and I have a feeling luongo won't be traded until christmas if the season begins on time because if schneider proves he can't handle being the starter until christmas than MG might trade schneider when he still has more value than luongo if he play light out than keep schnieds and trade luongo until somebody will pay the price also keep raymond for depth he can play anywhere in our top 9 if injuries happen
b-mo
why would detroit be looking to trade a player they just re-signed? jesus
Phil_314
Bert's getting up there in years and grayer in the beard... as mentioned I'd want a younger, big power forward. In the meantime also wouldn't mind signing UFA Jason Arnott for one year on the 3rd line and 2nd PP (2nd line while Kes is out); he offers size, strength and a good shot, plus defensive stability. Option for unit 2 PP: Burrows - Arnott - Higgins He (Jason), Kes and Booth can also rotate on the Twins' wing on the top PP
