Alchemy Time
Isn't this how Patrick Roy's career with Montreal ended?
Monteeun
how about the fact Luongo is in meltdown mode... again, and can't stop a puck to save his life right now?
VancouverCanucksRock
How do you calm down when the team is loasing like that to the Oilers? Oh yeah, use "it means nothing!" as an excuse? SHUT UP!!!

Grapefruits
How about the fact that the defense decided to be non existent or let Eberle walk right in.
Monteeun
Agreed, man. The fact that a group of 4th liners collapsed against Edmonton's full roster playing their hearts out in the last game of their season totally means that this team will flop in the playoffs. Heck, why bother even playing the games.

Monteeun
Luongo plays like that in the playoffs and we are headed for a tee time sooner than later.

PlayoffHockey
Alain Vigneault leaves Luongo in for 7 goals and in the process mindchecking his starting goalie for Game 1 and proving once and for all that he is no longer fit to coach the Vancouver Canucks. Monteeun
If you guys want to start blaming Luongo for everything, that's ok. But try not using last game of the season with half our lineup in the pressbox. Pick your spots a little better than this. Than you might be able to convince some people. Brad Marchand
Well at least the Canucks didn't lose 6-1 on home ice while needing a win to clinch a playoff spot.
i love semin
The team completely collapsed around Luongo. He had the one puck handling miscue, but the rest were point-blank shots or rebounds where he made the first save and no one bothered to cover their man. Why did they completely collapse? Because we were playing nothing but 4th and 3rd liners for the entire 3rd period (minus a couple Kesler and Roy shifts), and they could only hold the fort for so long before they were exposed by very skilled Oilers forwards. In the playoffs will we be playing nothing but 3rd and 4th liners? No? Well then I guess there's no reason to take this result to heart
