nice job PO

over 460 points behind the Wildcard Spots .... impossible ...or?

Atkinson and a returning Hodgson could give the Blues a little Boost.

Weiss may will return end of February and will be not really a help in the last Weeks of the Regular.

Expected much from Stephen though...saw something like 60+ Scorerpoints after he signed in Detroit.

So disapointing.... but he´s not the only one....

^ I think as of today there is only one team that is guaranteed to miss the playoffs, sorry to their GM, just being honest. Anyone close to 2k of points right now could theoretically make the right changes, get the right bounces and overcome the deficit by the last league night of the season. Just my 'Optimistic View'.

EDIT: for instance your only 300 points away from 'Just missed the playoffs' and your team could be in that spot with a dozen great nights relative to the rest..once your on deck, anything can happen!

While the Rangers could improve somewhat on the scoresheet, and we would be open to taking on playoff bound personnel, I am very satisfied with the room right now, I have the players on the ice that I want to have on the ice, and those players are keeping us competitive. There may be one or two more deals to be made by the deadline, but not necessarily for playoff locks, but for players that have been on our radar for some time. The right deal for the right player, not a deal for the sake of a deal or for a playoff bound player in particular.

PM any of your ideas anytime, we are always listening in the offices of Madison Square Garden

LA 2014 2nd

Lots of cap space

I was very fortunate to be handed a team with a strong core that needed some work on its bottom 6 and depth players. I made the necessary moves to create cap space and get Murray and Lindholm onto the NHL team, a move that has paid dividends so far. We didn't have many PIM producers in the prospect pool or on the NHL team and I feel like I addressed that by acquiring Martin and Clune and bringing in energy prospects like Smith-Pelly and Knight.

Overall its a very strong team in my mind, just need that elusive playoff goaltender and we are a top contender. That guy could be Jake Allen or Martin Jones in a few years though.
