Bombastik der Teutone
Was talking about overall play I watch most games and both guys have made tons of mental and defensive errors Hoffman ..lol i guess gryba and cowen are not the only ones in ottawa this season they would be on a playoff spot if the whole team wouldnt be inconsistent lehner is a total disapointment for an example and the gm bites his own butt that he dealt bishop

Primal Optimist
I know we need patience this week, but one of the men i brought on board at the deadline scored just his third goal of the season the very next night. New York needs those points! D.Winnik, you can hit 7 goals this year if you apply yourself within our system....go go go...
Primal Optimist
Newcomer Jay McClement with an assist tonight! nice. ((OOC: Tonight I think we will all bear witness to a gelling moment with the canucks. I can feel a huge eruption coming in goals, and this could be our day to have it. I am not saying all the slumps will break, but I think it will be a special night with great outcomes. Back after the game. I am thrilled its on HNIC))

Primal Optimist
All Right, A little help friends. My buddy and I are hitting up the Ducks game at the end of the month, it will be my first live Canucks Game since the early 80's when I was a kid!!!!! So, coming from the island by ferry, neither of us wants to drink and drive, so we are bus'ing to a hotel and then either cab bus or skytrain to the game and back. I am leaning towards the river rock...but I am looking for any suggestions? We want to have a good time, not be annoying at the game so drink later on more, and still have a safe night. Options? And if we go with the river rock casino, does SKytrain take us right to the game? If so what gate do i look for when we get off the train? Any insight and info welcome! P.S. Riverrock is a bit pricey for that night, so better priced option suggestions very welcome
ActionJax09
Theres a fair amount of hotels within walking distance of Rogers arena that are decently priced. There is a Sandman hotel that is probably a block or 2 from the rink. A room there for a night would be about $100 which is pretty cheap for downtown. If your looking to gamble Edgewater casino is a couple blocks from Rogers Arena.
Squeak
The sky train has a station right by the river rock, which you take to waterfront. Then you would change trains to the 'expo' line, and take that to stadium station. Go down the stairs, and there is Rogers arena right there, and the gate 7 (I think that's the gate #) As action said, there is quite a few downtown right by the arena....personally, I am not a fan of the River Rock but maybe check out Sheraton Wall Centre, Westin Bayshore, as both are downtown, but not right by the arena. da.moose
While we wish him a speedy recovery, the Washington Capitals could be in deep trouble without their starting goalie Kari Lehtonen down the stretch. The Caps are currently sit 7th in the Eastern Conference but are within 100 fantasy points of 6th place New York Rangers as well as 9th place Carolina Hurricanes. The Rangers have two starting goaltenders in Mike Smith and Eddie Lack, The Canes have two starting goaltenders in Ryan Miller and Ben Scrivens and the Pittsburgh Penguins have finally gotten their best player Steven Stamkos back from injury. Add an injury to Capitals top line pivot Pavel Datsyuk and it becomes obvious that it is going to be a very tough final month of the season for da.moose and his squad. Primal Optimist
Yikes, While I am excited that Lack gets to be featured for the next 15 games or so, I was gearing up to meet you in the first round. Hopefully you can hang on to it, but yeah, sounds rough in injuryville.
