Ben Kenobi
Booth has probably saved his job, as has Burrows. Based on performance this year: Sedin/Sedin/Higgins Hansen/Kesler/Kassian Booth/Santorelli/Richardson Burrows/Matthias/Jensen 1.5/2/1.5 3/2/3 3/3/3 3.5/3/3 Burrows is a bottom level 3 winger, and Booth is a 3 winger. Good enough to keep their jobs. Canucks have great depth at the 3 level, everyone (including the entire 4th line), is on par with bottom level 3 wingers and Centres. The depth is there. The problem is that first line of Sedin/Sedin/Higgins is a tweener 1/2 line, probably the worst in the league.
DeNiro
depending on what you want... Which is a top 6 forward.

Del Rio
I think LA has a great chance to go the SCF again, Gaborik has been a great addition.
Dogbyte
Garrison is slow and sucks. Edler is disgraceful to beat this team canucks have to hit and hit hard. My god they dont seem to be playing to win it at all costs. unbelievable I am so disappointed right now..some guys are playing and most are coasting. Torts sucks A$% Between the two of them ... why have two big lacklustre defenders? One is great, two is dumb.
redhdlois
Garrison's skating style looks weird. It looks like each stride he takes makes no progress and it just looks like he's slipping Johnny Canuck
CrazyAL
Certainly not over yet, but expecting them to score 2 against the ducks are a long shot. perhaps but 3 is possible!

BananaMash
Which is a top 6 forward. You're still not getting that in Booth though, and you could probably find a better bottom-6 player than he is for 90% of the season.
Ride the red Pony
yeah, looks like a bit of a mismatch not sure why Tortorella is so determined to shuffle things so gd continuously Ya ageed, this is hurting Matthias, really like Matthias. Would like to see him with Santo.
DeNiro
We know Booth is a "man of faith" but do you have faith Booth will continue this effort consistently from now on? Based on two weeks of decent play? The only excuse would be that he was injured more than he let on and is just now feeling well enough....see Burrows. Like someone else said, I think Booth has been bringing effort for most the season, he just couldn't put the puck in the net. There would be games he didn't hit the score sheet but made like 9 or 10 hits. That's the type of player we need. I would be willing to take the risk that he is back to his old form, rather than overpay another project player that we have to start from fresh with. No, but there are no top 6 players that will be available that will want to come here, or that we won't have to pay 7 million for. If we're not going to be using the cap space on anyone else, might as well just keep Booth. He's not exactly hurting our chances.

Why not spend less and get someone who is actually willing to put in the effort all season, instead of in the last few weeks before his ass is about to be bought out? Smashian Kassian
Plus Booth & Santorelli have chemistry, it was proven in Florida, and earlier this year that who Booth was with when he was scoring. Cause I anticipate Santorelli will be back.
