This game makes me think the NHL is fixed. I don't think I've ever seen a worse defensive play than that on the Kane goal. The blues just let him slowly glide in to the zone

Why would the Blues let Kane walk in? Jackman was got pinching in and that caused the odd man rush.

Chicago has had more than their fair share of defensive hiccups so far too.

I really hope St Louis isn't rattled from losing their 2-0 series lead. If they still have the confidence to win this series then I think they will win it. I don't really care how far the Blues go since I want the Avalanche to advance to the finals, but I do want the Blues to win this series against the Hawks, because I am sick of seeing so much of the Blackhawks in the playoffs. Also Duncan Keith, whatever team he is on I want to see them lose. I'd be pretty angry if it's a Hawks/Bruins final again. I'd really like to see some different teams battle it out for the cup. Something new and exciting.

if Blues lose this series and go out in the 1st round, what do they have to change?

Like I don't even know what they need to change. I always thought goaltending was their weakness and thought when they got Miller, he would be the final piece.

I think they need a legitmate 1st liner IMO, and I think moving a guy like Shattenkirk for one is worth considering.

That's exactly what I think. They have no real top line that with no superstar or sniper that is dangerous and that teams worry about.

I look at their lines as 3 second lines and 1 third line..

What would that solve? Hitch is like a HOF coach

I think they got 4 good lines with balance but no real superstar or scorers upfront.

I wasn't saying they should do it. I was merely pointing out an option. I've seen people talk about the possibility of it. I agree that they are missing that first line superstar scorer.

I see Tarasenko and maybe Schwartz eventually turning into 1st liners, but they need one right now. And what they could after that is go for a guy like Edler for a package of prospects and picks.
