Well, 31 games in, & the CBJeebee's are last, league-wide.

Is it Torts job now to be a lousy janitor? Run around the league with mop & bucket, ensuring the new match gets a lousy pick? Probably GM Kek was thinking lose for Matthews...

What is their record with Torts? They started off the season by putting themselves in a huge hole and it isn't easy adapting to a new coach and getting out of the losing funk.

I am no fan of Torts but let's be fair when we examine the impact he has had thus far.

CTOI(current team of interest): Pitt

Looks like the Kessel deal might blow up in their faces. Get the feeling 1 of Cros or Malks will be moved by next summer.

Now Fleury's hurt? Oh oh..If they crash hard, doesn't Edm have their 2016 1st(Perron deal)? This could pay, big-time for Edm!

Lastly TBay is mighty mediocre. Gotta' be a big deal brewing, especially with the Stammer-deadline approaching...

Interesting to see this a yr later.

One could suggest the Torts-hiring now appears pretty astute.

Through 15 mos of one young team's evolution, it illustrates how quickly a young team may reemerge.
