Bold means trade block

Underlined means I will listen but wont necessarily trade.

Got some holes to fill. looking to go young. May be calling up some young guys (Zetterlund, Nieves, Gropp and  Shestyorkin) give them a shot. Depending on free agency and trading. It isnt a terrible team, But we got some work to do

Glad to have Radim Vrbata on board, should complement Martin Hanzal in a 3rd line RW role.

Patrick Maroon will beef up the bottom 6 with some size and toughness.

And, glad to bring back Antti Raanta, a very solid backup goaltender. Now we don't have to worry about goaltending for the next 3 years.

Will be moving my bottom 6 around a lot. Most of my wingers can play both wings. Couldn't bring Hall in because of cap reasons, but he and Andersson can both earn spots as season goes on, I will just have to make room.

Overall I am very happy with my defense, and if Lehtonen still has gas in the tank, my goalies should be reliable.

I expect playoffs this year.

Sheary - Crosby - Kessel

Hagelin - Malkin - Sprong

B. Pouliot - Simon - Rust

Guentzel - Sundqvist - Hayes

Maatta - Letang

D. Pouliot - Shattenkirk

Cederholm - Braun

Murray

Jarry

Possibly our weakest forward lineup thus far in the sim.  But on defence, we look very strong with 5 legitimate top-4 defenceman and 1 promising rookie.  In goal, Murray and Jarry should provide a decent tandem and have a defence in-front of them that should help out immensely.

Not sure if we can win a championship this year as it is a bit of transitioning year but I do think we a formidable lineup that should make the playoffs.

Gonna see if moving JVR to RW will finally give McDavid a dominating RW, and hopefully get him going. A younger defensive core will be used next season, and should there be issues I'm glad to have two vets in Emelin and Hamhuis able to jump in for top 4 time. Reunited the Jonathan Quick - Martin Jones goalie tandem, hopefully they can get another Cup together ;).
