We're thrilled to have come to terms with all of these players, and to have solidified our lineup ahead of July 1st. From the 700k players to Brady Skjei at $4.75m, all of these players will hopefully find roles throughout our organization, with a number of them expecting to be given long looks with the big club this fall.

With the current group of 12 forwards, 6 defenders and 2 goalies listed on our team page, we are at just under $75m when it comes to the cap, so feel free to go up to $80m plus if you like, NHL. We will investigate free agency in a few instances, but likely only in depth situations, as we have some young players who we want to give that long look in campthis fall. We fully expect younsters like Martin Necas and Robert Thomas to push hard for potential jobs, perhaps even in the top-6.

REMINDER TO ALL GMS:

June 21, 2018 is the last day to send in offers to re-sign your players, as well as qualify any impending RFAs who haven't been re-signed yet. Following this date, any unqualified RFAs will become UFAs this summer.

There is no set figure to qualify a player is there?  Just a contract offer, or notification??

PS, thanx reminder!

Say “I’d like to qualify.” It’s not a formal offer, just ensures that an RFA doesn’t become a UFA. However, they can be offer sheeted, still.
