Just a warning to all, There is an error on the website... The error does not allow the retained salary to count against the cap. Please be aware of this when retaining and trading today. It does not show up in the drop down, but shows up at the bottom of the page. However it does not reflect your cap number

We are aware of the problem, but please keep this in mind today!

A note to all, that Winnipeg has about 23 million in cap space so if the above is an issue for anyone -- hit me up to solve it!!

it might just be that our big deadline acquisition will be none other than our own Jordan Staal back from IR...lol....I am still looking and thinking but the phones are quiet and I like all my guys so far this year...would reluctantly move out Ben Harpur for a playoff Dman...also Drake Caggiula, Kenny Agostino and Alex CHiasson may be awesome pickups for a building squad...they are not necessarily on the block but trade chips to get better for the playoffs. will check back in 30 mins...any contact questions is good contact questions...no message will go unreplied to!

To TOR.png.ffd70311caa529b0914c2097f56a124a.png @Art Vandelay: Justin Williams (2.25M Retained 2018/19), Conditional 2020 Florida 3rd*

To FLA.png.b89a9684ce76c6f9c0812d4d56a84f9e.png @Canuck Surfer: David Gustafsson

*Condition: Only gets moved if RL Carolina misses playoffs

Not quite a freebie for Art if Carolina misses the play off's? We're betting they do.

We really like Gustafsson, so we made this deal. At 18 he's already in his 2knd full time year in the SHL, Good luck Justin & Toronto.

So we're getting pretty deep in our prospect pool, high end but not elite at wing very deep on D.

This trade helps our C outlook a lot with several candidates for 3C & 4C roles. That's ok, as we have young guns Dylan Larkin & Matthew Barzal, plus Paul Stastny in the NHL.  Gustafsson a low floor, in our opinion, high % NHL 3rd line player but not high ceiling.

Centre prospect depth; David Gustafsson, Ivan Morozov, Filip Chlapik, Colt Conrad, Linus Olund

Wing prospect depth; Grigori Denisenko, Kailer Yamamoto, Ryan Kuffner, Jakub Lauko, Tyler Benson, Axel Jonsson Fjallby, Nicholas Halloran, Nick Lappin

Defensive prospect depth; Ty Smith, Jake Bean, Jakub Galvas, Calen Addison, Jeremy Roy, Alexandre Carriere, Thomas Schemitsch, Gustav Olofsson

Goalie prospect depth; Alex Nedeljkovic, Tristan Jarry
