Announcement

Teams can post players whom they wish to let walk to Free Agency. Also teams are encouraged to qualify those RFA's who they wish to retain.

The site should be moved ahead soon, there are just some complications to it at this moment

_arby_18! Worthy Opponent. Tonight my squad is looking to seal this up, with not too many man games remaining, a good night tonight may be the de facto end of our series. Like international play, the more points we can rack up the better...so we are going all in!

I have no idea how this round in the NHL will end...but I have to say I am on the fence about Boston...on the face of it, it is bad for my game if they advance but perhaps that is exactly what needs to happen. It remains an honour to be in the post season with such great GM's and of course, I am aware of the horrible irony should I get trounced tonight...but this thread needs more trash talk! hahaha....

Congrats to @Primal Optimist on taking care of our short-handed Sharks in round 2. We knew we were in huge trouble the moment that the Caps and Leafs bowed out, so it's no real surprise that we're now booking tee times.

The Sharks will be looking to shed a bit of cap ahead of the draft, as we hope to explore the the idea of re-signing Jake Gardiner ahead of July 1st. We also have Alex Tuch and David Rittich to worry about as RFA's, among some other free agents, so we'll have to evaluate the organization in the coming weeks. Teams with cap-space may want to contact us to see how we could sweeten a deal to take advantage of said space...

Looks as though most teams have their likely ticket booked to round 2! HOWEVER, 1 series that has been neck and neck and will come down to tomorrow likely will be DET.png.4a4f20a0cc4b057e9c0ea078027adfb2.png vs TOR.png.2452e7e951edfdb8c1de101ba1c1c494.pngTOR.png.2452e7e951edfdb8c1de101ba1c1c494.png has the likes of Steen and Sundqvist tonight, and Zadorov tomorrow. DET.png.4a4f20a0cc4b057e9c0ea078027adfb2.png will see the likes of Burns and Thornton tomorrow!

In the West we will have 1st in the Pacific go against 1st in the Central. These top 2 teams all year will go toe to toe, with the slight edge at the moment going to CHI.png.87cd655ff5e4c86fe65bb96c0b0caf37.png with 7 for sure players and 1 potentially added to that. AZ.png.aad04622960b31c662a2b023bcc695e2.png will be looking at 2 players for sure, but can add up to 2 more depending on tomorrow night.

In the East, NJD.png.437bbb15def851b67f05e2abe2852d82.png looks to be moving on in their series. However no players are guaranteed next round as of yet. As mentioned above the other series is too close to call as of yet!

Not sure if it's too late, but Detroit recalls Joel L'esperance

Unfortunately I can not allow this as he was never posted as a black ace at the start of the playoffs, or the start of round 2. Apologies about that

I won't totally believe this is the 3rd round matchup, but its 95% likely yes, thank you _arby_18 for a fun round and for having the meats...I am gonna need that protein going forward.

Ferland is back at practice today so I am confident we have Staal, Ferland and Kuraly so far....and a guarantee of either Kane or MacKinnon and Johnson joining them..

https://www.newsobserver.com/sports/article230090879.html

this next round is going to be intense! I am happy to see that should I survive the coming ultimate showdown of ultimate destiny..i will have at least one player on the ice for round 4..that is important to have. PK...wouldn't you say it is a tough position to be in with all your eggs in one harbour? I mean Boston I mean don't mention '11...i mean basket.

Congrats to the real life Blues, double OT winners against Dallas today.

But a big shout out to our goalie; Ben Bishop. The Blues were outshooting the Stars 52 to 26 moments before the game deciding goal. And Ben had saved 49 straight shots. Posted a shutout in Game 6. Had Dallas moved through, he would have been among favorites for the Conn Smyth!

Ben is also already nominated for the Vezina this year, finalist for goalie of the year.

Nice year Ben Bishop! :towel:
