World police at it again..

It’ll be fascinating to see if Russia stays true to their word and sinks the American destroyer in the area.  It’ll also be interesting to see if there’s a nuke pointed to every city that has 100,000 or more people in it, regardless of country.

I don’t know if I would use word fascinating, to describe sinking of a destroyer.

If that happens, you might get to see chain of events, that you really don’t want to see.

Not really, since I have been through a war already, be careful what you wish for though.

But I guess some folks have fascination and laissez-faire attitude towards death and destruction.

My experience with people like that, is when bullets and missiles start flying, they are are the first ones to $&!# their pants.

War is nothing like video games and $&!# that you see on TV.

I’m well aware of that I don’t play those games as I think they’re designed to de-sensitize a generation to be capable of killing with little to no remorse. I’m not some city slick that hasn’t killed a thing in my life either so don’t you worry... it’s the kids from towns like mine that sign up to protect the freedoms of our country that the people in bigger cities are so quick to give away. We grow up shooting and killing and in all honesty the ones that can’t hack it usually move south where they fit in.

I’d feel bad for the children but everyone over 18 is not innocent for what a greedy narcissistic world this has become.

Russia only stated they would retaliate if their forces were hit. There's no evidence of that. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Russia has a back door deal with the USA on this one.

SkyNews went all FoxNews on their guest.  The former commander of British forces in Iraq, Gen. Jonathan Shaw, went off script because he didn't want to follow the government narrative on Syria, and SkyNews almost immediately kicked him off the air.

I think you’re very right. Because Syria has the S-200 missile defense which is 60-70% effective. The Russians have the S-400 on their bases in Syria which is 90+% effective and is capable of shooting down all the fighter jets/bombers that attacked last night and they chose not to use it. Had the Russians chose to use it last night I think the narrative would be much different this morning, as shooting down enemy planes would most likely lead to something bigger.

Unfortunately he just questioned the motives of Syria... I think anyone with their own free thoughts would have to wonder, the timing makes no sense. Syria had absolutely nothing to gain by doing this. They make Assad out to be a madman but he’s actually a Dr and a specialist at that, one would have to think he’s smarter than this. Putin might be on to something when they’re saying that the UK is responsible. The timing makes no sense when the USA just announced a short time ago that they were going to withdraw.

I agree with the sentiment that he should have been allowed to finish his thought. Nothing he said was out of line.

What exactly are "free thoughts"? Anyone with a fully functioning brain has the capacity for "free thoughts". Seems like you are trying to say that anyone who does not agree with your interpretation of events is somehow being coerced. Rest assured no one is holding a gun to my head forcing me to think a certain way.

Correct in the fundamentals. 100+ Syrians are dead, Syria has gained nothing but Assad just might have.

H.H. Holmes was a doctor as well, his specialization was surgery. It didn't stop him gassing, torturing and murdering his victims not just for pleasure but also for profit.

Lets turn this around and use this argument for Kim Jong Un who has absolute control over his country, . Yet we continue to hear reports of him finding new and gruesome ways to carry out public death sentences. One general of his was sentenced to death by anti-aircraft gunfire for falling asleep at a military event. What does Un gain from such ruthless measures against his own people? Some would say he has already won and killing his own people accomplishes nothing. I am curious do you think that Kim Jong Un is also a victim of Western propaganda?

Funny how someone who speaks of "free thought" seems to have fallen feet first into Russia's disinformation campaign.

Or the timing makes perfect sense. Ruthless dictator who has used chemical weapons against his own people in the past feels emboldened once he realizes his biggest challengers are running off with their tails tucked between their legs.

I don't claim to know anything about this incident. It could be Assad, it also could not. We will never really know the truth. I don't think its out of character for Assad to attack his own people now that he is pretty much unfettered. The Russians have shown that they are willing to look the other way and America hasn't been too interested in getting into another war. What better time to send a message to any dissenters and consolidate your control over the country.

Read between the lines.

He was well on his way to saying that Syria most likely had nothing to do with the chemical attack.  SkyNews saw where he was going with his argument and cut him off.

It just seems to simple. Now Trump gets his headlines. Putin gets to lable America an aggressor, but they may get something more out of it too.
