probably 3-4 years before we become a serious contender assuming we don't swing and miss on our first round picks.. look at Winnipeg.. they hit on all their 1st round pick for 6 straight years plus had some good vets before they became a contender last year.. so far we can only say we have 1 player out of our first round picks that we hit on with actual NHL experience that's Boeser.. the rest still haven't even played a game in the NHL yet.. so let say Petterson, Hughes is a hit in the NHL.. we still need another 3-4 high end draft picks that makes an impact in the NHL
