Par Lindholm turned 27 on October 5th, which should make him eligible for waivers...right? @Nail

First year in North America so he automatically gets 1 full year of waiver eligibility.

Edit: Same eligibility that Koskinen/Kovar have and what Shipachyov had last year that let RL Vegas send him down at the beginning of the year.

Good to know, thanks!

For future reference, does their waiver eligibility also mean they won't have a cap penalty in the minors? (if over $1.025M)

Kings' Farm Team Report

Some of the highlights among L.A.'s signed prospects in the past month...

1. Ethan Prow, D - AHL: 11GP, 4G, 5A, +11

Ethan has surprised the organization this year. He has quietly been putting together a monster of a season, and will likely end up getting a call-up at some point.

2. Mikhail Vorobyev, C - NHL: 7GP, 1G, 1A / AHL: 3GP, 1G, 1A

Mikhail played decently in his stint in the bigs, and has continued to play well after being sent back down. We expect him to be an NHL regular next season.

3. Michael Kapla, D - AHL: 12GP, 6A

Michael's offense has jumped nicely so far in his 2nd pro season - from 1/3 PPG to 1/2.

4. Emil Pettersson, C - AHL: 13GP, 4G, 5A

His brother is setting the league on fire, but Emil is still steadily producing at the AHL level. Seems only a matter of time/injury before he sees his first NHL action.

5. Patrik Virta, C/RW - KHL: 21GP, 2G, 7A

Patrik moved from Liiga to the KHL this year, and for a 22-year-old rookie his season is going quite well.

Next month the focus will be on unsigned prospects (SPOILER ALERT: Ian Mitchell will be #1).
