Nail Posted October 13, 2019 Author Share Posted October 13, 2019 ANNOUNCEMENT: Effective immediately, the following has been added to Section 4.1 - Roster Requirements in our CBA: Quote Teams are required to ice as many NHL players as possible (salary cap permitting). Having players on your active roster who are in the minors or in Europe may be perceived as “tanking”, which our league does not take lightly. GMs may be PM’d throughout the season if an executive notices they have players on their rosters which fit this criteria. Once PM’d, the team will have 14 days to rectify this issue, whether it be via trade or free agent acquisitions. Failure to comply within the 14 day period will result in the teams 1st Round Pick in the upcoming Entry Draft being moved to 31st overall. So, all top prospects available to rebuilding teams who don’t believe they’ll be competing for a number of years and want to trade their playoff defenseman.
