8.5 For Petey and Hughes would be nothing short of a miracle on a long term deal. Either that or they haven't Canucks just haven't progressed that well with them, and if that's the case expect a full blow up.

Boesers qualifying offer is 7.5 and Probably will be closer to 8 at the very minimum if he continues to improve

That blockbuster trade has about as much a chance of happening as the Canucks winning the cup in 2021. The value of Juolevi and Lind alone isn't very high. They're dime a dozen replaceable players, throw in Roussel and you're making it worse

JB can take BB to arbitrators if he hasn't earned his qualifying offer so that's yet to be determined.   I hope he has as that would mean we've seen a 70 plus point season out of him.   30-30 guy...well let's say 6.5 is fair money in flat cap world.   Some of his contract will be under that too, five seasons of flat cap.

8.5 will does seem about right.   Assuming QHs is top five in scoring and has tightened up his defensive game, and EP is a PGP or better player during his bridge deal.   Flat cap again for a couple of those seasons, and some won't be UFA years as well.   That's a very good projection from where i'm sitting.   Look what Patches (if BB scores close to what he did leading up to his last deal we'd be in great shape), Stone etc...9-12.5 type money only goes to the best players in the entire league, and a few of those contracts were Dubas.   He's admitted to screwing that up, which for sure he did.    Paid them like they were already UFAs lol.

I have doubts BB is going to earn his qualifying offer, let alone 8.   If he did he'd be a PGP or better winger, and scoring 35-40 per season, for sure it's possible but that's what he'd have to do to get 8.   He's a winger not a C, and he's not a Selke type like Stone and Panarin.   His next deal also includes RFA years.

BB will probably get between $7M-7.5M on a long term contract.  Its Nylander money.  And you can't say that BB is better than Nylander (points wise).  Factor in flat salary cap /Covid-19,  and maybe its $6.5M - $7M instead.
