While I can see the obvious trend of former Winterhawks we've gone through, I don't really see how it would be any worse than having projects from other teams. I tend to think projects are just that: projects. Some will work while others won't. Each will show us whether they were worth taking a gamble or not in their own way regardless of where they are from. Let's also not forget that Baertschi would also be on that list. SilentSam Posted October 9, 2021 Share Posted October 9, 2021 Have to admit Pétan has hockey smarts.. as a specialist on the pp , that could be 30 goals a year for us minimum. Nothing wrong with making him fit for the start of the season , strategically, he might just be the shiny object to that’s been missing at times. He possesses a pretty damn good shot on the setup, and uses it, great eye to stick coordination, and positions his body well in lanes or traffic. I was considering him as a pp specialist guy In front of the net Ray.. anytime I’ve seen him there, he positions himself well and frees himself at the opportunity.
