He lost 2 family members back in Spring.  He decided that it was best for him to stay in Europe to be close to family.  Grenoble is just over 4 hours from Zurich.

 

His NHL contract is going to slide next season - they are supporting his decision and hope that he will return.

The NHL should look at changing the way they put that kind of information out…Texier has entered the substance abuse and Behavioural health program…WTF is behavioural health? They basically send a message out like he’s a drug addict, I was even confused by the title until more of the story comes out. Kinda stupid to word his issue that way.
