You would think but Gretzky only won it five times.  Players get taken for granted and people look for reasons to vote for something new.

Might end up as the greatest NHLer of all time.....that didn't win a Cup.  That's as close a compliment you'll hear from me giving an Oiler (even if it's a backhanded compliment )

 

edit:  ok 2nd, Marcel Dionne (imho) has that #1 position locked-up.
