Instead of bargain basement Bergevin its now bargain basement Dubas.  Not sure, they are still an old team with an injury prone goalie signed long term.  Time will tell if it was Shanahan that saved Dubas from himself or if Dubas is a "genius" some make him to be.

2M over the cap now but boy has Dubas done his thing over there. Bringing Graves in and revamping their bottom-6 completely. Surely they'll have to trade someone to free up cap space, maybe a goalie, but that Penguins team looks like a playoff team again IMO

I know there's all this talk about moving Petry but that's a solid top-6, solid bottom-6 and solid top-4 and pretty decent bottom pairing to boot, and Jarry isn't bad either. Not elite anywhere except for their top-2 centers (depending on how good they still are next year) but just solidly well above average everywhere on the ice. No way NYI beats this team for the playoffs next year.
