    Burroughs fought Stillman because he had just laid Hoglander out twice on the same shift. People complain about sandpaper, well, Stillman brings it. If he can stay healthy (some shoulder and knee problems) he could be a solid bottom pair addition for cheap. He is only 24, as well. Can eat 15-16 minutes a game, I don't mind it at all.

    It sounds as if she made her decision early. She started treating you like garbage to put the decision to break up solely on you, then it would be easier for her to move on. She's selfish, you will continue to be miserable with her in your life. You may be miserable for a short period without her, but short term pain is long term gain in this situation. I've been there, you need to find people who give you positive experiences where you never have to second guess yourself. People should want you for who you are and never change for anyone, just my .02.

    Good value for Motter. He'll have a good season this year and might get a bump in pay on a contender next year.

    WHATTTTTTTTTTTT?! No way!? How's life!? I was actually just telling somebody the other day how I spent my 19th birthday! You and Mr. Brown (Greg?) took me out for Nachos and Beer in Langley because I didn't know anybody and I'll also remember that, I was really appreciative of that!!! So, thank you! I'm on Vancouver Island for the time being but currently shopping for houses out in the Ottawa area.....unless the interest rates get too stupid. ANOTHER?! There are just so many OG names that slip the mind in old age. sLapshot -- invented the famous CDC saying "lol@____" A TRUE pioneer of the forums! CH73! I still have the Stu Grimson card signed for me!!!!!

    I have only ever been to 2 concerts. Both the same year (1998). Eric Clapton (Played Tears in Heaven on acoustic) The Moody Blues (QE Theatre with full orchestra was pretty cool!)

    For the OG Canuck fans: Would you have held on to Bobby Schmautz? or were you happy with how Odleiffson worked out? Finally reading Canucks in 40 and it sounded like Schmautz was a huge fan favourite that didn't last long, then was flipped for a guy who jumped ship to WHA, Walton who had 1 good season, and of course, Odleiffson.

      People talk about the Canucks having a goalie graveyard, but what about a GM graveyard? Since 1970, the Canucks have had....2 or 3 good GM's? and even that is probably debatable.

      Not an OG fan, but when looking at the stats at least, it feels like Schmautz was a bizarre guy to trade away. Oddliefson was good, but I think Schmautz was probably a more impact player. Also a tough customer, I believe.

      That's what I was thinking. I'm wondering if it was a mix of trying to find what roster sticks after being an expansion team? I thought maybe it was because Wayne Maki was a similar (?) player, but Schmautz was traded a year after Maki died. It seems odd if they were looking for an identity to match the likes of the Flyers, Bruins or Canadiens of the era....seems a guy like Schmautz would have been an excellent foundational piece? I think he was only 28 when traded away.

    I was going to come in here and say for a guy who speaks of his compete level all the time, I find his body language awful. He has mini tantrums on the ice after a giveaway and doesn't hustle back to make up for it, competitive players can be emotional, but they still compete...he gives up on a LOT of plays. I was really hoping they were going to find a nice deal on draft day. Also, Pettersson's streaky/perimeter play is infuriating and I can't ever see him being a 'leader' in the playoffs, but I truly hope he proves me wrong because I do like him and think he is incredibly skilled.

    Ugh. Common misconception. A couple years ago, the board went down for a day or 2, we were actually upgrading the infrastructure so that VC is now powered through Solar!
