Dude, I never have and never will buy green from a dispensary, or a government store.

I grow and know other growers. It's been the case for about 20 years and I see no reason to change.

Example- At a recent company staff party one of the "kids" brought a cute little dispensary doob. Apparently it was their "premium grow"... and it was $&!#. The kind of crap that if I grew it I'd be ashamed and use it for budder, oil or hash. It hadn't been flushed properly AND the cure on it was rookie garbage. All it did was make me cough and give me a mild headache. So 20 mins later we were back outside with my PR and everything turned out real gud after that.

I'm really unimpressed with the Gov version of "legal". Go ahead and read up on the nutrients and pesticides "health" canada is allowing these corrupt dickhead corps to put on and in your weed. Nasty $&!#. Stuff I'd NEVER use on mine regardless if I was smoking it or not. The whole legal industry is deeply disturbing to old school growers and those on the know. 

I guarantee legal, corporate weed will start causing cancer and other lung and nervous system ailments if they're allowed to continue using neurotoxic pesticides and chemical fertilizers.

Well on that topic you have my vote. I'm in the middle right now, some from shops, some from private growers. One day I'll grow my own, but at the moment it's just not feasible. I'm all for transparency of additives in the growing process, and again, if everyone demands it of them then the growers will have no choice other than to provide it. I don't want crazy chemicals, I just want good weed.
