Teams are absolutely stacked at the moment. Expansion should be greatly considered. It is not really that fun to have all teams up tight to the cap, and then having to do deals with equal amounts of cap going both ways (can get very challenging at times). The league could use more teams, and I for one would vote in favor of expansion.

At the moment the cap is super high in order to deal with the fact that teams are stacked. I personally agree with you. I think we need to diversify and bring in more teams, then lower the cap to something reasonable.

As well, teams can still be built using just free agents - and waiting to the off season that probably wouldn't be possible anymore.

I like my team though...especially my blueline :)

You're like 400 points ahead. I don't even know if you've ALWAYS been that far ahead or if it's a result of us messing with the -1 = -1 thing.

Me and BM decided that the point totals were somewhat whack. These are what we've decided on.

Forwards:

Goals: 4 points each

Assists: 4 points each

Shootout-Winning Goals: 2 points

Special Teams Points: 2 points

Overtime Points: 2 additional points

Game-Winning Goals: 2 additional points

Penalty Minutes: 1 point per minute

Plus/Minus: 2 points per 1 plus rating

Defensemen:

Goals: 6 points each

Assists: 6 points each

Shootout-Winning Goals: 2 points

Special Teams Points: 2 additional points

Overtime Points: 2 additional points

Game-Winning Goals: 2 additional points

Penalty Minutes: 1 point per minute

Plus/Minus: 2 points per 1 plus rating

Goaltenders:

Win: 10 points each

Shutouts: 10 additional points

Overtime / Shootout Losses: 5 points each

Losses: 0 points

Goals: 99 points each

Assists: 10 points each

Penalty Minutes: 2 points per 1 PIM

Anyone got any problems?

7-3 in favor of expansion now. If we can have any members interested, then we will consider expansion for that person. There are some good Free Agents out there, a few that I known of at least, which would be good start to an expansion team.

I'd be willing to help that person get a somewhat core of a team by searching for Free Agents.

I've been ahead for quite some time now. Not that you simply messed with the -1 points thing.

Simple rules. Pick players playing in the ASG. They get points, you get points.

Obviously I am playing, There is only room for 6 GM's in total. So I need 5 other GM's that are willing to spend the next hour or so banging out a draft tonight.

Each Team will consist of 4 forwards, 2 defencemen and 1 goalie.

For forwards and defencemen 1 point = 1 point.

For goalies, 2 points for being credited with the win and a goals against point according to the following:

0 goals allowed = 5 points

1 goal allowed = 3 points

2 goals allowed = 2 points

3 goals allowed = 1 points

4 or more goals allowed = 0 points
