Tony Romo
He has worked diligently to improve his team. I'll refrain from speculating what you have been doing.
Mike Vanderhoek
I am hurt that you would say that. I have done a couple big mistakes when I first joined. Like trading Blake wheeler for Jeff Schultz. But I have tried my best to make my team better.

Sharpshooter
Romo, I'm not trying to hurt your feelings but I'm not sure how you could justify your last response to Cal. To complain or compare your team to others when your big UFA signings were to pay Colliton and Darche $13 mil, just to really hit the cap floor. There were quire a few good Dmen available this year. As I said, I'm not going to speculate whether you did or didn't try hard to grab more players to fill out your roster but Rick Dietro was just waived and you have no starting goalie. Your number 1 center has played 9 games in the NHL. You have no legitimate top 4 Dman. You're a nice guy, dude, but it looks like youre tanking on purpose. Having a youth movement doesn't imply not having NHL players. Its not fair to compare your team to Cal's.
Tony Romo
Guys, I'm not looking to tank. I don't have the patience for that! I gave darche and colliton those contracts because I needed to reach the cap fast, and I didn't want to commit my self to much money in future years. I have a lot of wholes in my team, and it is very hard to fix that. Top 6 forwards don't grow on trees and top 4 defensemen don't grow on trees...and starting goalies don't grow on trees. I am looking to improve my team any chance I get, I'm not a big fan of losing. Gosh, I need to not post, whenever I do I get in trouble!
Otis
Yikes, relax guys.. Romo was just giving Cal a compliment and poking fun at the weakness of his D... not everyone's strength is to wheel and deal and improve their team quicky.. Nothing wrong with letting the young guys take big roles and go for a high draft pick.

arby18_
I won't add much to this other than to say that I'm one of many teams that are close to the cap, and personally I would have looked favorably at many different options that would have given my team some cap relief. Perhaps getting to the cap floor with some hockey trades would have been met with a more favorable reaction then majorly overpaying for free agents... Dion Phaneuf
All I got to say is that I'm glad I overpayed for some quality free agents to remain somewhat competitive. *I joined after the best day in hockey and filled some flaws on the Ducks after Brunners disappeared and left me with half a team unfortunately.. I got nothing against Romo or his team but I do hope does well in the draft (MacKinnon, Barkov, Jones, Shinkaruk, etc.)
